God is One! The Golden Age of Unitarianism

Speaker: Jana Peirce Lay Leader: Eric Muehling Music: Marsha Sousa
This is the story of Francis David, the son of a Transylvanian shoemaker, who won a religious debate with Calvinists 450 years ago and secured religious freedom across his country. This is the story of King John Sigismund, the only Unitarian king in history, who did not use his power to oppress other forms of religion or to secure special privileges for his own, but to insist upon equal rights and privileges for all. Today’s service is part of our UU history series.
